Following the easy process of tagging valuable property by owners, nothing more needs to be done unless the owner lost something that was tagged. At that point the owner can use her/his antilosta account to list the lost property in the owner’s public page on the antilosta website and also offer a reward if so desired. With both the antilosta label decal on the lost property and the listing of it on the web, it is very easy for the finder of the lost item to view the owner’s public page on the antilosta website by simply going to the link shown on the label and searchng for the unique ID also shown on the label.
The antilosta ID allows the finder to connect with the owner through the antilosta website via e-mail in total anonymity and regardless of how far they are from each other. From that point on, dealing is possible between the finder and owner directly via e-mail or phone communication if desired to arrange for the return of the lost property to its owner plus any reward dealings if applicable.
All the options and actions available through the antilosta website for owners and finders are clearly explained online and are easy to find while using the website either from the account login or the finder pages available to the public at large.
The antilosta service is free through the free antilosta account including getting the labels via the do-it-yourself options, though options to purchase labels from antilosta are available for those who wish to skip the do-it-yourself work and get a higher grade of durable vinyl and laminated labels as described on the website for about the same as the do-it-yourself cost.
